Orienteering Event - 1st & 2nd October

Due to the popularity of the Orienteering event this year we held it over 2 days.

30 schools and 250 students took part. Orienteers from the Sarum and North Wilts Clubs helped with the day.

The day consisted of schools coming at intervals, getting instruction, doing introductory routes followed by a timed course. The enthusiasm of the students was infectious and both days were lovely Autumn days, a great mix making an excellent event.

New Sports Coordinator
Matt Andrews is the new Sports Coordinator for St Augustines.

Matt has been Sports Coordinator with the John of Gaunt cluster since The West Wiltshire School Sports Partnership first started.

Commenting on the new challenge Matt said, "I'm very enthusiastic about the move and look forward to bringing some exciting activities to St Augustines cluster."
