At the end of the first rounds, when they played in leagues, the semi finalists were Westbury Leigh, Avenue, Bitham Brook and St. Georges. It was the Westbury duo of Bitham Brook and Westbury Leigh who were triumphant and made it the first all Westbury Final in the 40 years that the competition had been running. The final was a tense affair with play going from end to end. Both teams scored a single goal so we entered extra time. Enthusiastic teams from Sutton Veny, St. Georges, Minster and Avenue took part. As there were only 4 teams the tournament was run as a league with everyone playing each other. Right from the start it was obvious that Avenue and St. Georges were the teams to beat and both teams reached their final match against each other unbeaten.
