New Waterpolo Club
This club was available to Key Stage 3 Matravers School students during term 3. A new venture for the school, with the support of the community swimming coach Alma Borthwick and Westbury swimming pool, students were able to experience a sport that they may never have tried before. It proved very popular and will hopefully inspire those who took part to look towards joining a local team.

There is a possibility that we will run a synchronised swimming club in the Spring Term!

Warminster & Westbury Primary Schools Football Tournament

On Saturday 1st March the Warminster and Westbury schools held their annual 6-a-side Football Tournament at Warminster Highbury Boys football ground. This year due to other commitments only 6 teams were able to take part. The tournament ran as a league with all teams playing each other.

Most of the matches were very close, however at the end Newclose School, who were last year's winners, just over took their close neighbours the Avenue School by a single point to take the trophy.

Alan Chapman, the Lions President, presented the Lions Cup and medals to the winners and runners up.
