The tournament was refereed and organised by the Young Leaders from Kingdown School. Even though conditions were very wet there was still much enthusiasm and skill on view.

At the end of the first rounds, when they played in leagues, the semi finalists were Westbury Leigh, Avenue, Bitham Brook and St. Georges. It was the Westbury duo of Bitham Brook and Westbury Leigh who were triumphant and made it the first all Westbury Final in the 40 years that the competition had been running. The final was a tense affair with play going from end to end. Both teams scored a single goal so we entered extra time. Suddenly Westbury Leigh scored a goal and then 2 more in quick succession to win 4-1.
